TERMS OF SERVICE
Definitions

“Article(s)” shall refer to any article or articles submitted by authors to the Article Focus website.
“Author(s)” shall refer to anyone who has written and submitted an article or articles for publication by Article Focus.
“We” shall refer to Article Focus and its employees.
“You” shall reply to authors submitting articles or to any other entity or person dealing with Article Focus.
Submission of articles

Authors must only submit their own work to Article Focus. You must be the legitimate copyright holder for every article that you submit, and you are not permitted to submit articles that have been written by other writers (apart from ghost-writers working on your behalf).

Each article that you submit must be unique as regards both content and title. Moreover, you must verify that all content is factually correct and that the article does not contain any statement that could be deemed libellous or inflammatory.

When you submit articles to Article Focus, you are confirming that you hereby:

Grant us permission to publish your articles.
Give others the right to publish/reprint your articles.
Accept that the article(s) will be published without you ever receiving any form of payment.
Understand that there is no guarantee that we will publish your article. If, for any reason, we do not wish to use your article, we will reject it without any reason being given.
Undertake to ensure that your article is orthographically and grammatically correct i.e. that it is not full of errors.

Use of articles

Publishers and webmasters who wish to publish/reprint any article from our site in a website, blog, RSS feed, ezine, forum or publication may do so, but only provided they observe the following conditions:

You must mention the article source credit under each article that you reprint and ensure that this is accompanied by an active link.
You must respect the copyright of the author(s) by publishing the entire article as it is, completely unaltered. The original title must also be retained without any changes.
You must include the entire resource box at the end of the article (unabridged or edited).
All links must be active/linkable, without making any syntax changes. No links are to be added.
You must not place articles from this site on any website that features unlawful activities. Such activities might include bomb-making, inciting of racial hatred, pornography, and exploitation of children, other human beings or animals.
You must never charge others for viewing articles that you use from Article Focus or sell any of our articles.
When using any articles from Article Focus’s directory, you do so entirely at your own risk.

Law and jurisdiction

Should a legal dispute arise between Article Focus and any of its suppliers, promotional partners, agents or any private individual, we undertake first to attempt to resolve the dispute through a mutually acceptable mediator.

Should this not lead to a mutually satisfactory outcome, disputes shall then be dealt with by a court of law in Scotland and shall fall within that jurisdiction.
Changes to the terms and conditions

Article Focus reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time and without warning. Authors, suppliers and other parties working with or for Article Focus are advised to check this page regularly for changes. By continuing to use this site, you are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions applicable at the time of submission of your articles.
